" I offer personalized instruction tailored to each student's needs."
Mira Gandy, BFA
"Very friendly and dedicated tutor."
My Daughter had Mira since the beginning of October 2013 to work on College Applications. She immediately made my daughter very comfortable. she helped her to navigate through the whole process. She gave her excellent advice on College choices and helped her with the essays. My daughter couldn't have done it without her. Mira is always on time and is very easy to communicate with. She even took time outside the class to review my daughter's essays. She's always very supportive and dedicated. I would highly recommend her.

Mira is a breath of fresh air. She was instrumental in getting my daughter excited about college, and helping her to narrow her choices. Mira is knowledgeable about the college acceptance process, and knows a great deal about the schools. It was really difficult to find someone with anart specialty who knows about portfolios, what the schools are looking for, and how to navigate the process. Mira is one of those people that we look forward to seeing, and her positivity rubs off on the whole family when she is here. I will continue to use her, and you should to.

Private Art Coach
One-on-one Art lessons and Admissions Counseling
As passionate as I am about creating art, I am just as passionate about bringing my artistic talents into the community. I always make time to teach and support young artists. I have worked as an Art Instructor and creator of visual arts curriculums for over 10 years. I have taught grades K-12, gifted students, at-risk teenagers, LGBT homeless youth and post incarcerated women. In addition, I have experience in coaching prospective art students with the admissions process to art schools. This has included school selection, portfolio preparation and editing essays. I am proud to say that with my assistance the young artists I have coached have been accepted to the top art schools in the country.
